Due to a special additive which is used for aircraft engines in the aircraft industry, among others, Hot Wax has unique properties. The dry lubricant is not only dirt-repellent but also water-resistant. As a result, Hot Wax can be used throughout the cycling season. With one lubrication you can cycle up to 1,000 kilometres without re-lubricating.

The lubricant has an extremely low coefficient of friction. The lubricant offers long-term stable lubrication and can be used at temperatures from -30 to +100 degrees Celsius. The shear strength of the lubricant increases as the coefficient of friction increases. This phenomenon is also known as “super lubrication”.

More due to the addition of Graphene, Hot Wax has extremely strong adhesion. With the outstanding lubricating film, you do not suffer from boundary lubrication. Not only does this minimise component wear but this will also virtually eliminate frictional resistance.
